Busting the Myths: Living the Lush Life on a Dime

How to Promote Your Own Prosperity

Here are three practical methods to help keep money hanging around you like a fine perfume. These techniques have been around for thousands of years. I'm doing my part in the chain of wisdom by linking them to you. Sure, it's the least I could do. Here are three ideas to crack the code.

  1. Part of all you earn is yours to keep. Save ten percent of your income. If you think that's too much, start with five percent. Still too rich? Save something, even a sawbuck, andavedsRetRe be consistent. After awhile, you'll find that you don't miss that ten percent after all.

  2. Don't take advice about diamonds from the brickmaker. In other words, don't take advice about stock picking from a guy who works at McDonald's. Ask him about burgers and fries, sure. That's what he's expert in. But seek money counsel from those in the know.

  3. Make each dollar you save go to work for you, and put its yield to work as well. Your nest egg will grow exponentially over time. Don't kill the golden goose.

Life is full of ups and downs. How you handle them determines the overall quality of your life. How you prepare for life's exigencies determines whether you survive or thrive while those around you are thrown into chaos. At any given time, there are loads of people who wonder what happened to their pile of hard-won cash.

There will always be others who catapult to great wealth during society's economic lean times as a stunned populace looks on. I'll give you a hint. It's not the economy that's controlling the amount of coin in your wallet. It's your money plan. In every market, boom or bust, you have the means to live the lush life on a dime. Like the mindset of my millionaire friend, it's a matter of choice.
